Accord on oil cleanup and repair in Peru’s Amazon

Half a dozen indigenous organizations from the region of the Peruvian Amazon that suffers most from oil pollution have reached agreement with the government on issues including inspection of aging infrastructure, remediation of contaminated areas and compensation for communities.
